We’ve made preliminary block bookings at a few hotels (with different price ranges) around Chung-Ang University. The rates have been already negotiated for the next year unless noted otherwise.

Please note: Seoul Palace Hotel is the closest to the CAU campus (10~15 minutes by car) and Stay 7 Residential Suite is the most inexpensive accommodation; however, Seoul Palace Hotel and Stay 7 Residential Suite are located apart from the hotels in Yeouido area (Lexington hotel, Stay 7 Premier Hotel, Hotel M, & Hotel Benhur) while the hotels in Yeouido area are within 5-minute walking distance to each other.
The ground transportation between each accommodation and CAU will be provided during the conference period: twice daily (once in the morning and once after the daily conference).
Please note: Hotel M, Hotel Benhur and Stay 7 Residential Suite are completely sold out as of June 25th. Therefore, we’ve added another hotel—Stay 7 Premier Hotel—a newly built accommodation in Yeouido area. For budget travelers, you may visit the official website for Seoul City Tourism for alternative lodging options such as youth hostels, guest houses, and home stay options.

Airport Limousine for Lexington Hotel, Hotel M, Hotel Benhur & Stay 7 Premier Hotel:
Take the Airport Bus to ‘Hannamdong’ from the gates 5A or 11B. When you get on the bus, you should tell the driver that your stop is Lexington Hotel since the bus only makes the stop when someone asks for it. For those who stay in Hotel M, Hotel Benhur & Stay 7 Premier Hotel, it’s the same stop.

Airport Limousine for Stay 7 Residential Suite:
Take the Airport Bus #603 to ‘Seoul Nat’l Univ.’ from the gates 6B or 13A. Please either tell the driver that your stop is ‘Seoul Nat’l Univ. Station’ or get off the bus
when you hear the stop. Stay 7 Residential Suite is very visible and it takes few minutes on foot from the bus stop.

For budget travelers:
There are three youth hostels in Seoul. Please visit the ‘Hostelling International Korea’ website (http://kyha.or.kr/english/main.asp) to take a look at all the hostels in Seoul. As of June 26th, only Seoul Olympic Parktel (http://parktel.co.kr/index.htm) has bunk-room vacancies for the duration of the conference period. The rate is 22,000 KRW/bed/person for Youth Hostel members. Non-Youth Hostel members should pay for a whole room. Please visit the Seoul Olympic Parktel website to find out about discounted rates. Seoul Olympic Parktel is quite far from the conference venue-about 1 hour away by subway and some walks to and from subway stations.
