The conference will be held in the Arts Center and the Law School, both on the campus of Chung-Ang University in Seoul, Korea. As a capital of Republic of Korea, Seoul has a long history that goes back to the pre-history era and been a capital of Joseon Dynasty and then Republic of Korea consecutively for more than six-hundred years. Seoul is home for more than ten million people (approx. a quarter of the South Korean population) and the political, economical, and cultural center of South Korea.
The theatres in the theatre district of Daehangno (about 80 small theatres) open year-round as other major performing arts centers such as the National Theater of Korea (http://www.ntok.go.kr/english/index.jsp), Seoul Arts Center (http://www.sac.or.kr/eng/) and Sejong Center (http://www.sejongpac.or.kr/Eng_ver/). Therefore, the delegates will not have any problem in selecting performances to their taste as long as they don’t mind watching performances in Korean language.
The conference dates fall in the end of rainy season so bring umbrellas. When it’s not raining, it would be quite humid and hot.
